    韩寒是我最喜欢的作者之一，而这篇小说是我认为韩寒写得最好的一篇。我想读这本书的第一个很简单的理由就是它的题目吸引着我，与世界谈谈。延续韩寒以往的风格，语言犀利而富有幽默。开创了韩寒“公路小说”的新概念，新品牌，较之以前的作品更显得人性及现实。
    这篇小说，以男主人公的一台1988年出厂的旅行车作为载体，通过路上所见所闻及回忆，来展开故事。于是一场精神的旅行开始了。整个小说韩寒试图用一种新颖的眼光看世界。残酷但也便得接受得坦荡荡。
    女主人公是一名名叫“娜娜”的妓女，但是她却有着单纯与开朗的性格，有着小小的梦想，想去桑拿房当小姐而不是发廊里面。看到这里，我们也许会嗤之以鼻，但是更多的是同情。男主人公是一名记者，他与娜娜开始了在公路上的“三日自驾游”，通过他们的聊天谈论，让我们看到了社会的残酷与现实一面。而这种残酷与现实，在作者笔下却来得淡然，轻松。在这个社会中，我们什么都可以没有，但不能没有梦想，而小说告诉我们有时梦想可能很小，并不一定是高大全。
    《1988》既让我们在闲暇时有了一种消遣，可以被里面的主人公谈话逗笑，又让我们去思考这个社会，更可能是对卑微的人心存梦想的感动。
