　　杨禄禅（1799——1872），名福魁，又名福同，字禄禅。祖籍永年县闫门寨，后移居直隶广平府南关（今广府南关）。性和善，富膂力，精洪拳，访名师，专心致志，十有余年，备极精巧。后进京授拳，所向披靡，人称“杨无敌”，太极拳遂风靡京师。晚年返里，教拳于民，卒后葬于闫门寨。有子三：凤侯、班侯、健侯，皆承父艺，各有建树。其后太极拳普及日广，渐形成不同风格和流派，杨氏所传，气派大、形象美、浑厚朴实、舒展大方、轻沉兼备、刚柔并济，人称“杨式太极拳”，杨禄禅则被尊为杨式太极拳创始人。
　　铭曰：祖师禄禅，出身贫寒。天赋膂力，始习洪拳。慕内家艺，心恒志坚。勇闯京师，无敌称焉。讷言敏行，深自内敛。艺高德尊，同道欢颜。太极世家，太极普传。泽惠大众，群呼圣贤。魂归故里，水阔山远。鹤飞雁鸣，一派天然。头枕魁星，脚踩莲岸，虽居一隅，乾坤无限！
